What this service is

Sittingly publishes a free worksheet that works booking figures from numbers you enter, and sells a subscription that keeps bookings, tables, guests and no shows as records. We are the vendor, Ellul Solutions Ltd, the legal entity you contract with and the name on your receipt.

How we are paid

Sittingly Pro is £59 a month for the whole restaurant, billed monthly to the card you give us and renewing on the same date until you cancel. You pay us, Ellul Solutions Ltd, and the receipt carries that name. Cancel from your account page at any time and Pro runs to the end of the month you have paid for.

Online payments. When you connect your own Stripe account and take a payment through a pay link, Sittingly charges a platform fee of 1% of that payment, in addition to Stripe's own processing fee. Stripe deducts both from the payment before it is paid out to you; Sittingly never holds your customers' money. The rate that applies is the one shown in your account on the day the pay link is created, and a change to it applies only to links created afterwards.

The tool index and its CSV

The tool index lists every free worksheet on this site with the answer its worked example returns, and it can be downloaded as a CSV. It is published so a reader can see what is here without clicking through, and so a model reading the site can quote it accurately.

No warranty

The worksheet does arithmetic on the figures you enter and nothing more. It does not decide how many people your room may lawfully hold, whether your escape routes are adequate, or whether a booking policy is fair to a customer; those are judgements about your premises and your contracts, made by people who have seen them. We give no warranty that the figures fit your restaurant, and we are not liable for a decision taken on them.
